1. What Exercise Form Trainer is
Exercise Form Trainer provides general educational information. It is not a medical device, medical advice, a personalised programme, or a substitute for a qualified healthcare or exercise professional.
The app explains commonly taught exercise setup, movement, breathing, cues, and mistakes. You remain responsible for deciding whether a movement is appropriate for you and how you perform it.
2. What the app does not do
The app does not use your camera or sensors to assess your movement. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, monitor, or screen for any medical condition or injury. It cannot promise that a particular technique will prevent injury, and it cannot account for your body, health history, environment, equipment, or current condition.
3. Before you train
If you are new to exercise, returning after a break, pregnant or recently pregnant, under 18, older and unfamiliar with exercise, managing a health condition or injury, taking medication that affects exercise, or unsure what is appropriate, speak with a qualified professional before starting or changing your activity.
Read the complete lesson and its safety note before attempting an exercise. Choose a difficulty and range of motion that match your present ability.
4. While you train
- Warm up appropriately and progress gradually.
- Use a range of motion and pace you can control.
- Keep breathing unless a qualified professional has given you a different plan.
- Do not copy an image or cue into a position that feels painful or unsafe.
- Stop when technique can no longer be controlled.
- Do not train through pain to complete a lesson or milestone.
5. Stop and seek advice
Stop the movement if anything hurts or if you feel dizzy, faint, confused, unusually weak, or unwell. Sharp or severe pain, chest pain or pressure, unusual shortness of breath, fainting, signs of a serious allergic reaction, sudden weakness, or another severe or rapidly worsening symptom may require urgent medical attention. Contact local emergency services when appropriate.
This list is not exhaustive. When in doubt, stop and seek qualified advice.
6. Your space and equipment
- Make sure you have enough clear space to move.
- Use a stable, non-slip surface and suitable footwear when appropriate.
- Check that benches, steps, chairs, bands, weights, and supports are secure and in good condition.
- Keep people, pets, and objects away from the movement path.
- Use assistance or supervision when a movement or load calls for it.
7. Load, fatigue, and progression
Technique education does not determine the right load, volume, speed, frequency, or recovery for you. Start conservatively, increase one variable at a time, and allow appropriate recovery. Fatigue changes movement quality; stop or simplify the exercise when you cannot maintain control.
8. Young people and supervision
A responsible adult and appropriately qualified professional should decide what exercise and supervision are suitable for a young person. The app is not a replacement for age-appropriate coaching or safeguarding.
9. Company contact
For questions about the app’s educational content or this statement, contact SUKUMASUP LTD at support@sukumasup.space or +44 7706040898. Do not use these contacts for an emergency.
